Being a caregiver for another can be overwhelming.
On January 26, 2013, Boise State University hosted the 2nd Annual Family Caregiver Conference. Specific helpful information was provided for individual family member and professional caregivers.

Friends in Action. A unique volunteer program dedicated to supporting family caregivers. They help family caregivers reduce stress, solve problems, make tough decisions and find help. Call 208-333-1363.
Alzheimer’s Idaho. Provides Alzheimer’s dementia behavior training for local caregivers and their loved ones, family counsel and assistance, evaluations, support groups, assistance with resources, and a “help-line” for hands-on support. Life Changes Elder Care Consulting. Provides professional geriatric care management, the process of planning and coordinating the care of the elderly to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence for as long as possible 208-321-5567.
Norco. Provides in-home medical services and equipment. Its slogan, “Serving You Better,” characterizes its commitment to help patients and caregivers stay in their homes and age in place. Live with confidence that safety and accessibility is accomplished with their help. 208-319-2577.
Safety for Seniors. Specializes as a unique mobile servicing company providing home health and safety products for senior citizens and the disabled. Their products range from grab rails to threshold ramps. They analyze the needs of customers and arrange for custom quality installations. 208-867-2752.
Where2 Transportation. Their mission is to provide independence, convenience and peace of mind for those with limited transportation resources. Where2 offers safe and reliable transportation at an affordable price for their members. 208-602-1566.
